PARADIS BEACHCOMBER
The luxurious Beachcomber Paradis Hotel & Golf Club is located on Mauritius’ Morne Peninsula. Surrounded by beaches, palm trees and with a large pool, it also features 4 restaurants and health and fitness centre. Rooms and suites are decorated in natural tones and feature private bathroom, flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi. All rooms offer Indian Ocean views from a private furnished balcony. Some are directly on the beach. Le Brabant is a buffet restaurant serving international cuisine, while La Palma restaurant offers Italian dishes. Blue Marlin is a seafood restaurant and La Ravanne creates Creole specialties. Water sports such as diving, snorkelling and windsurfing can be arranged. Golf, tennis, volleyball are available on site. There is a nightclub while children can be entertained at Paradis’ mini-club which comes with a private pool and suitable only for children younger than 12 years old. Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport is 60 km by car. Black River Gorges National Park and Casela Nature Leisure Park are a 30-minute drive away.

Beachcomber provides an exceptional golfing experience for guests at selected resorts, complete with package options and professional coaching. The 18-hole, par 72-championship golf course at Paradis is considered among the best golf courses in the Indian Ocean. At Shandrani, the challenging 9-hole mashie course has a unique layout and golfers consider it great practice for their short game. The Paradis Golf Club favours as much its technical nature as its playability. International professional player Tony Johnstone brought its personal touch to it designing several bunkers and fairways. This Mauritian golf course reflects its location : exotic and landscaped with taste. Paradise flowers, araucarias, bougainvillea and poinsettias are scattered around the greens filling the view with colours, while royal palm trees, filaos, casuarinas, tamarind, and coconut trees add up to the tropical charm. The greens are planted with Seashore Paspalum, a type of grass ideal for exotic islander golf courses.
